Well, obviously none of them are real weapons - unless they were your pappy's and he had a Class 3 and was currently drunk and unaware of your activities in stealing his firepower o_O Or if they were offically deactivated (Which is kinda pointless, except for gun shows).

The more you look at them, the more little details you notice are off. The bottom of that Heckler and Koch's grip is all wrong - it should be a small latch to hold a dissasembly tool (Like on the '94 I've been TRYING to get working again.) The earlier versions have kind of a grill pattern, and I've seen an exagerated pattern, too.

Again, on the Heckler and Koch, the fire selector is a lil too far down, and the reciever itself is a lil too gray and mishapen just by a margin (Seems squished a little bit).

I've never seen a 1911 like that one, but then again, I'm not really a big fan of the '11 series apart from the standard A1 Springfield. It's a GREAT pistol, but only 7 rounds seems like a jip.

Ahh, and the Armalite design - one I hate, lol. The M4 is dubious at best. That model looks like an A1, since the carrying handle is removable (notice the lug nuts). There isn't any type of hand gaurd like that, with the RIS panel on the underbelly of the foregrip. I've heard of people actually welding their own RIS, but to a hunter/plinker like me, it's kinda pointless. I hardly even use scopes (Only ones I do use are the horribly complicated Red-Line versions). The markings are a lil off and the gun seems a lil too gray... And something aint right with the fire selector. That's about all I can tell you about that M4A1, since I'm not too familier with the design. I'm more associated with the XM16E1, the first firearm I've ever fired (basically, an M16A1 with a birdcage flash hider and NO forward assist).

But remember that these observations are made from a trained eye over a LONG period of time. Whip that sucker out infront of somebody and they're gonna think it's real. I mean, I wouldn't stick around to observe the gun either. I'd either run or draw myself (no more FID - Class 2, baby. Expect some big power).

Kind of an interesting sport - checking it out. I think the real thing is better, but then again, you cant shoot your friends with the real thing and expect them to have fun.

dam im impressed by your observations! Of course you know there not real but scale replicas of the orginals, markings and positions were tweaked to avoid legal issues!

as for the game itself , you being an obvious enthusiast of fire arms would absoulutely love this sport, tactics, movement, squad play very intense!

Oh and no one dies from being shot, but will suffer from bleeding and welts if shot at close range!! LOL

My 2 favorite places to play:

1. the kill house ( 1600 sqft house for cqb action) AWESOME!!
2.Op Bio Hazard (once a year thousands attend) Mission and scenario based games. Very Cool! Almost simulation type training! Command by an ex army ranger dude.

I am a big fan of Car-15's, old pre-ban colt m-4, i own and a more recent version of the weapon, Bushmaster!

I see nothing in the Armalite design worth while, personally. Maybe because it was the first thing I ever fired (Can you say 2 jams and a shell casing in the face?). Although, the ORIGINAL design had ONE thing that was rather interesting, which was later scrapped. It's right-hand rifling twist was such that the rounds would spin in a fasion that formed a coan shape, so that if say I opened fire, it would hit your leg, your arm, your knee cap, your belly, your neck and so on, rather than just hitting you in the legs a few times (That's what you're trianed to do, by the way. Hit the guy in the legs. He'll fall down, two to three more people will come out of hiding to save him. Now you got three to four people to take down.)

I dunno about doing the games. Heart condition MIGHT get in the way. If it's anything like the target run we have in North Attleboro, it could be fun.

Heart condition!!OHH!

the colts has been known to do that, pre-ban. But newer version by bushmaster have the new xm-16 internals, much better more reliable and now they come in various barrel lentghs. There biggest strengths that im most impressed with is the compactness and versatility of the colt car design, and the stopping power aint to bad either.

m16 nice for accuracy or killing from afar but i like getting up close and personal. LOL room clearing is way fun!!!

CQB FTW!!!!

Heeey - Just noticed the second picture. A nice lil 552-SP (Or more likely an SG-552. I'm asuming you wouldn't want semi-auto in those games and rather prefer the Military/Police version).

I used to own a 550-SP waaaay back before I had the CETME. Had it fitted for shilloutte shooting and medium game hunting. Nice little sucker, I must say. The stock, grip and foregrip were very nice, the iron sights were magnificent and the weight, reliability, action, magazine catch/release and moveable trigger gaurd really made it a great little rifle. LOVE SIGs. Their pistols and rifles are <3. I still own a 226, but I have to either replace it or change both the frame AND the slide, or somehow get a new paint job for it. New law in MA is prohibbiting chrome finished firearms. "Safty reasons." Yeah, what a load of crap.

Ya i could of sworn you have to keep the orange tips on to play with them in public. Cause they do look alot like the real kinds of guns. Apparently yesterday i was playing with a "deadly weapon" according to Illinois law. Anything that shoots over 300 feet is a deadly weapon. I was shooting a airsoft sniper rifle that can reach 410 feet. Deadly airsoft weapons ftw! Anyways i am looking into an M16, they go for around $50 down at a military store. I will get the batteries and a charger for them and ill get a siliencer for range and accuracy as 4runner stated. I wont get it anytime soon though as i have no money. Hopefuly this summer ill have one.

Them guns are a bit too expensive for my taste. They do look freaking sweet though. But i do believe i am going to just stick with getting an M16.

a 50 dollar AEG? what brand is that? Down here a TM M16-A2 would run over $150 not including batteries and charger (or additional clips). Not to mention that there are only about 2-3 airsoft stores on my island. And those of us that live in Hawaii know...Shipping sucks arse for online products.

In anycase, if you ARE gonna get that gun, you should buy 1-2 batteries, a charger, and maybe a few clips (or a couple hi-caps).

And yes, you are supose to have a painted tip, But since I'm a backyard airsoft player, I removed mine (made my chrome desert eagle look funny). All that did for me was void my "free-maintinance".

I'm just gonna say this, 'cause it drives all those who are familier with firearms NUTS.

They're not "clips." They're magazines. Clips are small pieces of metal that hold rounds together so they're lined up as you push them into the internal magazine of a bolt action rifle.

I played with Tokyo Mauri AEG's when I lived in Georgia. I don't play here in Utah, but when I go back this usmmer I will play again. I want to buya VSR-10 Gspec, but that would be a wast because i don't think the homeland security department would appreciate me bringing a firearm looking thing onto a plane, even if it is in my big bag. My M-4 is okay, but I'm not going to put it on a plane either. and don't call magazines clips. Gun lovers with shoot you.

When my friends and I airsoft we each have 2 mags. 1 primary one back up. Also we get a loader, makes for a funky ass war. One of my friends had an M4 that loaded in the sights so he had around 300 shots to our 50. It is still a freaking blast. I am really leaning on getting an M16 or possibly an AK-47. Probably the M16 i just have to do some searching around and get price ranges and such.
